No worries.. the time will come when you just have to buy another one... :bsmilie:now I own both J2 and J3 for different occasions :sweatsm:

my friend (who know nuts about photography) says the F3x bag that i am carrying looks like a camera bag to him..

so much for 'a bag doesnt scream camera bag'..

probly because you told him it was a camera bag? haha

I am interested in getting the J-803 but there is only one tall insert included with the bag and I don't see any short inserts available at CP. May I ask how short are the short inserts and how can I configure the J-803 to hold a D80 + 18-200 with lens facing down? Pictures of a sample configuration will be greatly appreciated.

Also, I don't really think the bag is suitable for storing a laptop as the laptop compartment offers little or next-to-none protection...

interesting, but i never tell him that i brought my camera along when i met him.. hmm..

Actually, IMO, Domke does look like camera bag :bsmilie: Just like L lens does look like lens but top breed of all lens :sweatsm:

the canvas bag looks less like a camera bag (well seasoned)

so the conclusion is.. for the first few years... it will look like a camera bag and then... less and less like a camera bag due to seasoned... :bsmilie:

I'm using F-3XB. The main compartment allows me to put in my cam with battery grip and zoom lens mounted, and two other lenses(quite a tight squeeze actually..

I went to take a look at F2 and had no idea how to put in my cam with battery grip and zoom lens mounted for easy retrieval..and the salesperson wasn't of much help.. I was thinking that the 4 compartment insert could be shifted all the way to the end, leaving a space for the cam with batt grip and zoom lens mounted but it'll make one end look squarish.. I've seen someone carry an F-2 with a natural collapsed shape. Didn't look like a camera bag at all. But when I went to the shop to look at a new one, it looked squarish cos of the padded insert.. Can anyone teach me how to use the F-2 to allow for easy retrieval of cam but not have a squarish shape? Got pics to show?

Pass Ortega your new F2 and let him season for you :bsmilie:
Jokes aside, I am not sure about the F2... but for my J2, I remove the insert in the "box" (main compartment), I can put my body+grip and zoom lens mounted. Then on the side outside the box, I have my flash one side and a long zoom lens the other side. I still have my side pockets for a 50mm (they are well padded as compared to F2. So I feel safer), the other side for hardisk, omnibounce and accessories...

Hey guys , what the different between F5xA and F5xB , can F5xA fit Dslr ? Thinking of buying ...... Thanks a lot.

get the F5XB, good fit for a camera with lens attached. simply love it! that's right, the F5XA is smaller, and it looks squarish leh, anyway i dun think cathay photo carries that(F5XA) if wan must buy online rite?

I just got quote from Cathay, F5xA dont avail local, F5xB go for 123.

So your main compartment only carries your cam with everything mounted? That's a lot of unused space!
