For my 50D 2 Tokina DX lens I am using, got 12-24mm at $699 and 16.5-135mm $999 both from CP MS.
Hi e tokina 12-24 can use on a full frame camera? BTW u brought at $699 form cathasy photo marina square issit? may i ask when u brought it cos quite interested in this lens...
No, Tokina DX only for APC-S camera! Yes at Cathay Marina in May '09.

I called marina one... they also quote mi same price...
So you are saying if buying Tokina lens overseas and 2 yrs international warranty will be granted?
I am still eyeing on Tokina 50-135mm F2.8 AT-X535 PRO DX Canonmount.
I got the old 12-24mm f4, not the Mk II that came with motor!

Might want to consider Sigma 50-150 f2.8? Longer reach.
Yes, around that price. TK and Parisilk HV should selling around 940
It's a DX lens but usable on FX from about 18mm onwards without vignetting. Haven't done any rigorous tests but the border IQ surprisingly seems as good as on DX. Maybe someone else can do a proper test on this.

jus wanna understand a bit more about tokina warranty.
from wat i understand, grey sets are import sets and the respective company only provide local warranty, so the original warranty isn't valid overseas (eg. tamron)
since tokina has a default 2 yr international warranty, there shldn't be a grey set rite?

there will still b grey sets, regardless of the international warranty.
international warranty only applies to local sets which are bought in their respective countries.
eg if u buy a local set in HKG, it is covered by the local warranty, so it will be covered by the international warranty.
but if u buy a grey set regardless of which country which isn't covered by the local warranty but the shop warranty, it won't be covered by the international warranty.
when i say local warranty, i mean the local warranty provided by tokina, not shop.
