Yo guys!
Touched down to Vietnam last evening, it was a very exciting experience. The roads here are so congested that you can't drive over 60kmh without crashing. There are so many motorbikes compared to cars and they are driving VERY recklessly.. My mum was so frightened that we might have a accident anytime.
Everybody is cycling in the middle of the road too, and there is no traffic lights in the interjunction, so while driving we can suddenly see cars moving to the sides, and we have to like squeeze through the interjunction with 4 different lanes of cars
Scary but fun, so who is complaining Singapore's traffic is bad? haha
Manage to take a few photos last night, but it is really nothing, will try to take more today, hope to post them up ASAP once i reached Singapore.
Any decision on the 4th Jan outing yet?

Hello from Vietnam!
We survived the first day. Man the traffic here is absolutely crazy!!!!!
No road rules what so ever, and the number of scooters and motorbikes has to be seen to be believed. We went for a short wander last night, today we will hoof it a bit further and visit a few landmarks and get some shots.
Had a good nights sleep at our hotel which is very very spacious and quite new.
Just had breakfast and found free internet access, so can keep you posted.
Melvan is on now so I will finish up , see you later.

Left only a few more days before the outing, so better try to make a decision or come out with a vote or something..
btw my elder brother would most likely be coming too..

Hm, not sure about bird park, can FZ18 handle that range without TCON? 500mm isn't VERY long...

Good Morning from VIETNAM!
Managed to dodge traffic sucessfully.
Did a lot of walking, and more walking. Today we go on a full day tour of Mekong River, hopefully no swimming.
Found some good restaurants, having a good time but Amy freaks every time we have to cross the road. I work on the theory that you pick a spot to walk to and just head for it, don't stop and just hope that they want to avoid hitting you as much as you do.
Better go up to room and wake the others up our tour leaves in an hour, still got to have breakfast.:thumbsup:

Yah, it looks good! Glad you 'stole' it!!!
My pet goldfish - not sure if he's the biggest 'cause it so difficult to catch them basking in the sun as they always hide when I approach the tub with a camera...

We are back from a full day's tour at Mekong Delta. Very good value, only USD$10, which includes everything. Plenty of photo-opportunities. We were all tired, but here are 3 photos anyway
Hi Clunk, great pictures, however your cam seems to be constantly underexposing the outdoor pictures, give it a +1/3 EV. Or photoshop them
give it +5 brightness and +15 contrast and see how they look ^^.The last one is good though, good blue-y grey-y tones.

Hi, you're most welcome to join us, shouldn't be a prob. Welcome to the FZ28 world too ^^
How do you contact us? You don't, just find out our location, strip naked and pace around the street, we'll find you with our super-zooms. =)
I'm just kidding of course. Skyguy is the main organizer of this, perhaps you just have to drop him a PM with your handphone number. Meanwhile do check this forum often, we're quite active.
So, how much did you pay for the camera and where did you get it?
