How do you contact us? You don't, just find out our location, strip naked and pace around the street, we'll find you with our super-zooms. =)

I'm just kidding of course. Skyguy is the main organizer of this, perhaps you just have to drop him a PM with your handphone number. Meanwhile do check this forum often, we're quite active.

So, how much did you pay for the camera and where did you get it?

I bought this camera from malaysia, RM 1425 with Toshiba 4gb memory card class 4 and a bag plus one extra original Panasonic battery at Sungai Wang, Malaysia.

As shown above, we have 2 plans plotted out. In event that we're lazy, its possible that we do the blue path only, the break in-between will be covered by MRT from Raffles to Marina.

If we take the whole path, this is what we have in mind.

City Hall (Meet)
Esplanade
Marina Square (Food for anyone? Alternatively we can have lunch here first Foodcourt has open air view of the city and esplanade too.)
Esplanade Drive (Good view, + Merlion is there too)
Clark Quay/ Singapore River
Chinatown
Lau Pa Sa (Skyguy suggests we have dinner here)
Marina Barrage for sunsets and night shots (skyguy's main plan)

Sounds like a good coverage of everything, the only thing we're lacking may be time. But if we take things light and fast, we can cover it. I suggest perhaps 12.30 to meet? We might not have lunch, see how?

main checkpoint as stated on above map, on the way to each cheakpoint we will be taking shot of anything

- Marina Barrage for sunsets and night shots (sunset at 7.11pm, according to some online resource)

Free and Easy to leave anytime if you have other commitments, no pressure!

Remarks:
+There will be lots of walking, so wear a comfortable shoes and clothing.
+Bring water bottle along, have lots of water the night before, get a good night sleep.
+Wet weather is expected by online resource, so bring along raincoat and etc tat can protect ur equipment from rain
+Start personal msg me ur handphone no. (anyway my number is 9276 1569)
+As u can see from the plan, we are walking quite a long distance, so i'm not sure if its a good idea to drive there and parked

by the way I left out in my map that the red and white bars are distance scales. Each red or white bar alone is 500m, (so both together is 1km). A total rough estimate of 7km, thats about 2 hours of time walking.

You confused yourself, Raffles CITY and Raffles place are somewhat different, Skyguy didn't type wrongly =P.

Yes we meet at cityhall MRT.

Anyway guys I got my lenses and camera back, I haven't tested them throughly but I have a feeling it didn't improve. I tested it abit at the center and I didn't see the improvement. Darn Canon didn't recalibrate my lens! =( I am SAD!

It's raining cats and dogs here in Vietnam, had to leave the restaurant we had dinner in because water was flooding in through doorway. Water was knee deep in the roads and we had to use a makeshift bridge to make our way back to hotel. Melvan is loading some pics I took today.

Was a exciting moment over dinner

We were trying to order desserts after our nice dinner and we saw water flooding the floor of the restaurant, so we didn't order any dessert and went out of the restarant to avoid the flood, and realised its raining heavily outside and its flooding pretty quick.

In less den 30 mins the roads flooded until the curbs. It was a exciting experience, too bad I didn't bring my camera down for dinner or else I could show you guys.

Honestly I don't find them to be good shots, but somehow I'm captivated by them as they leave a lot to be interpreted. Almost like you're being drawn to another dimension. Admittedly, I didn't plan for much except overexposing the floors.

It will be nice to get back to Singapore, the street peddlers and beggars here are tiresome, you don't want to be rude. It is best to wear a tourist hat and sunglasses, carry a hammock and have tissues and chewing gum to show them when they pester you.
The people are friendly in general, but very poor only making on average $US 500 per year.
I don't know how they survive.
