Had more free time in office today so decided to fire off a few shots at the skygardens...pointers are welcome as I'm a newbie to FZ28 as well...

I have some more panorama shots of the view from up here but no software in office to stitch them....

most probaly the date will be 4th of jan 09(sunday)

kranji war memorial
West Coast Park

Changi Broadwalk
Clarke Quay (near Fullerton)

(and we are still opened for suggestion)

Please don't loosely use the term 'Dark Side'. That generally implies Nikon systems, and well, I'm using Canon! Haha.

And one more reason why you need to join Canon and not Alpha... look at your pics! They're all blurred due to handshake!

By the way FZ18/28 has Lens IS right? its a dual IS system?

Unfortunately, it seems that I've failed to lead him to the Canon camp, he's going to regret getting an Alpha200 I tell you!

Anyway, for the fast snail pic, you should have panned the snail to get motion blur instead of letting the snail blur =P

Or else use a rear curtain flash... you'll see a trail of motion blur behind the snail with a sharp snail at the end.

Haha the baby pic is because i was using ISO 80, and i was using a tripod, it was he that was shaking

the snail was actually very slow, i had to use slow shutter to get him to act fast

I'm not so patient to pan along with it

Was bored also so took picture of lady on $10 note with Raynox

then closer look at her eye.

All I have to do now is find insects and bugs printed on paper to take pictures of them, hahaha

Hey guys, I got bad news. The buyer for my Tele lens bugged out! Now I'm having trouble upgrading! Pretty sad! =(

Also got some good news, one of my dancer friends agreed to be my model! Gonna enjoy it!


And skyguy's pigeon is an AWESOME catch. Great resolution and perfect angle/timing. + Captions lol. Somehow I never get my captions right.

Hi Ay 6810, Panorama 4 is pretty straight forward to use isn't it?
I showed it to some workmates and they were impressed at how user friendly it was.

Got up this morning and everyone is still asleep after a marathon mahjong effort last night. I heard the birds twittering (tile washing) at 3:00am don't know what time they packed up and went to bed.
Talking about packing up, better go throw a few things in a bag, have to be at airport at 1pm.

Sorry AY! I'm abit itchy fingers and like to steal people's pictures to edit! haha. =X

By the way, you can ask skyguy to teach you how to do the reflection shots! The reflections on the left buildings are starting to appear with my edit, if you do it right, you'll get an awesome picture =)
