Hi,

I'm interested in moon photography. Currently I owned a D200 and 85mm 1.8d lens. What's needed to start off. Mentioned in the thread that another options is use eyepiece projection. Where can I get this kit in Singapore and how much does it costs? Anyone care to enlighten me what is needed with my current setup

Happy New Year

Hi,

I think you'll need to get a telescope first. You'll also need a tele-extender to insert your eyepiece inside. After that, get a nikon mount T-ring to couple it to your camera body.
I suggest u start with prime focus first cause eyepiece projection will require a very stable and tracking mount.

You can get these accessories from Astro-Scientific Centre at the Omni-theatre. Or here: http://www.mcgill.com.sg/shop/ Which should be cheaper.
This illustration might help :http://www.stargazing.net/Astroman/Craters.html

Good luck!
