40. Relics

Some old objects found displayed outside the historical building found in Skansen. I like how the light falls on them.
Now this I thought might be better in black and white. Still, it's lovely like you said about the shadows.

I find the framing of this a but tight. But I like how the waitress stands out. Lovely to see your post after so long.

Hi emlee. Long time no see! Thanks for dropping in and leaving all the comments. Very much appreciated, and they made my day. For me, long time no post cause long time no shoot :) Good to see you back in ClubSNAP.

As for the photo, totally agree with you. Always felt that something was not quite right. Wanted the buildings at the back and the people at the front, but the use of a telephoto seem to compress them a little too much, I think.

Lovely use of depth. How is this in colour?
Let me go dig it out for you.

Would be better if you showed us the 'content'. ;)

Ha ha! You don't want me arrested, do you  They are kinda x-rated.

I will post one in B&W. Watch this space.

I think they were free roaming, so you might not necessarily see them at specific places. :)

We were in Stockholm for just 2 days before flying for London. I feel the living standard here is lower than Oslo and Copenhagen based on my stay in Scandinavia. Also heard a lot about Norwegians crossing border to Sweden for grocery shopping during my interactions.. Not sure about Helsinki though since I never been there.

Yes, I remember the white geese. Had some photos of them too! And I thought Stockholm was already expensive :( What about Iceland? Are things even more expensive? After seeing your photos, very tempted to make a trip there.

53. Wooden Tiles

Last shot from Skansen (for now). Wall of a historic house.

Iceland used to be among the most expensive places in Europe to visit until their bankruptcy caused a sharp fall in their currency value, making it more affordable to tourists though some operators resort to accepting only euros instead. Generally still a tad cheaper than Sweden now. Plan a trip there some time, you won't regret it. :)

Thanks for the information. Will try and plan one :)

55. Floating By

Does anyone want to guess what the cloud resembles? Svenska Handelsbanken is a Swedish bank established in 1871.

60. Last Ones Standing

Taken just outside the Moderna Museet, or the Museum of Modern Art. Found the colors the autumn leaves complementing the colors of the bricks.

62. Millesgarden Sculptures

Millesgarden is an art museum and sculpture garden. It is a popular tourist destination site and is located on the island of Lidingö, at the grounds of the home of sculptor Carl Milles and his wife, artist Olga Milles, who are both buried there. It is a little way out from the Stockholm city centre, but still easily accessible by public transport. Spent half a day touring the grounds. This picture was taken in the later part of the afternoon, shooting against the sun to produce a strong silhouette for the sculptures.
