I actually took a few shots of the same scene. This is the one with the sun hidden behind the clouds. The one you saw on my LCD was probably the earlier one where the sun was exposed. I didn't process that because a large part of the sky was blown out.

LOL, if long enough (provided weather/WB doesn't change) I could even make everyone on the stairs disappear. Looks like Ding was there at least 3mins (after that more people were turning up already). Also couple of err.. couples who were NOT moving around. *glares*

As usual, will try to post some pics up for each outing attended..even though with many flaws ;p.
Hi Yilin, a couple of comments from me:
For merlionpark#1 - Well exposed and nice reflections but framed too tightly IMO. Give the MBS more 'space' to breathe. Structure on the left was also clipped slightly.
For merlionpark#2 - Nice colours and levelled horizon but I thought it wasn't a very good idea to chop the MBS into 1/3.
You're definitely improving as you move along. Just try to put more thoughts into the compositional aspect before pressing the shutter in the future. Just my 2 cents..Keep shooting!
