Okay I've located marine hawaii photo. It's found at Blk 58 Marine Terrace #01-51
From what the uncle at the shop told me, they do C-41 processing only, which is $4 per roll. Scanning is an additional $12, but I didn't ask for the resolution. Processing is done in-house and with C-41 you can get your film back on the same day.
Hi guys, sorry to intrude in here. I am thinking of starting a developing and scanning all-in-one service.
Will be initially be sending the films to PhotoHub @ Commonwealth for developing and conversion to digital aka scanning in-house. Will also be providing collection and delivery service.
Would anyone be interested???
Any suggested price range??
Could the experienced shooter please advice.
Looking to develop B&W HP5, went to Ruby a few days ago, $6 a roll like what a few users said (takes 3 working days, so they outsource) and scanning takes 5 working days, contact sheet also provided along with CD. Price for scanning to CD alone is $12. Total $18.
Decided not to scan in the end. Anyone can recommend a good place to process B&W 35mm? Also, how long does fotohub take to process 35mm B&W?
Thanks guys, will update if I try out any others.
Velasco,
you could easily scan the photo on a capable flatbed scanner yourself, and then touch-up the file in PS/CS. Alternatively, the old way was to photograph the photo.
Is the photo damaged or faded, curled up, cracked etc?
If it is, then the cost might go up quite a bit as digital restoration work might be necessary.
Hope this helps.
p.s. How big is the photo? I may be able to help you if it's not damaged.
Hi Guys, I'm going back to film to.
Any clue if there are any stores in SG that accept "mail order" style developing of 35mm film (i.e. mail the roll of film to them to develop, print and scan at high-res, then they mail it back to me)?
Reason is that I'm very busy and hardly can find time to travel all around to send and collect my films from the shops.
thank you for your help...

If I'm not wrong, Grace digital does it and so does 35mm at Bukit Timah. You can always call them up and ask![]()
