Haha. Yeah. EVF is really needed for d RX1.

M still saving. Lon way to go. Haha. Tried d pre FLE n find tat d rendering suits my eyes better than d FLE after done some real shooting photo comparison. Might focus on getting d pre FLE and also d 50/1.4 lux ASPH first then d M body since now d M is having lotza issues wif AWB n loose strap lugs. Haha

Yupz. Its so small. At d rate u r all hype up to go shooting. Better get additional 2 batteries. SLR Revo has some cheaper 3rd party ones. Quite ok.

If want original Sony batteries can go online. Price is about half of what they charge in spore and can buy 3rd party ext battery charger for about US $20 I think here is around 117

Imo, rechargeable lithium batteries are pretty safe, 3rd party or not. Especially if that particular ebay seller has a gd feedback rating. Sure, the rated mAh may be overestimated, but at least they won't really harm your camera.

Those brandless rechargeable NiMH AA/AAA batteries are more dubious though. ..

Happen to me before. Think the shutter button was accidentally depress while inside my bag (in OFF position) and the batts went flat. So just have to be careful in placing the cam inside your bag to not let it get easily depress.

Just buy some spare 3rd party batts from SLRR revo. Cheap and good. Got my external charger from them too. Charging the batts in cam is a pain.

Yes, even OFF posn, if depressed the batt will b drained. This looks like an inherent design issue. Have to b careful when placing in bag. But w the protrusion of a evf mounted, it shld not happen since the evf is higher than the soft button release.
