Sigma 18-35 1.8! (crop sensor though...)


i see.. yup with shipping and GST it'd likely cost me over 1.2k for this lens. as opposed to around 900+ for one here?

i'm heading to NYC in Nov and i thought i'd be able to save on shipping, but i find out there's an 8.8% local tax. oh well!

issue when i) you want to sell the lens to other buddy, when they find out there is no local warranty, the price will be much lower.
ii) the lens need service/repair, there is no coverage for you. mailing back and forth the lens to US does not make any sense to me.

especially it is not even any cheaper to buy in US.
 

Anyone have used this with full frame though its for aps-c? Tnx
 

Any idea when the Sigma 18-35 f1.8g Nikon mount is hitting our shore....

Oh... You mean it's already on sale but out of stock...my understanding from the shops that
I called are that the ones with the Nikon mount are not available in SG yet.....
 

I've been asking the salespersons at a few stores and they have no idea when will the Nikon mount be available.

ahhh the wait is killing me.. available 15th aug on B&H, so SG should be around that time i guess? anyone have inside info?
 

B&H expected arrival date pushed to 22 Aug..

nikon mount delay again ... haizzz ... :(
 

Maybe there're lots of front / back focus issues on the first batch for nikon mount ...
But so far, after reading reviews, non are having these problems.
Well, that's for Canon mount.
Hope nikon mount would be the same ....
 

Nikon users will be very happy next week
