Always like portrait of the elderly, they always give me a sense of having been through a lot, lots of hardship and experience.. the eyes are looking at you, wanting to telll you all his experience
 to limwhow

Saw this cheeky girl who make funny faces when i pointed my camera on her. only to know that she was asking for "Photo Rupee" in a pleading tone shortly after..

SGTrekker - nice.. worth the photo rupee.. wonder how it will look if you zoom-in for a shot?.. or crop this around her waist to only show the cheeky girl and baby? I think the baby looking at her will draw viewers attention to her even more.. but just a 2 cents comment from a noob..

vngks  nice timing..

Thank you ClemC, I dare not cropped in as it is a manual focus lens and it will looked soft for lack of experience with using the manual lens.

And you are right, cropping in will tell a better story.

SgTrekker.. modest la.. look pretty smart to me (at CS resolution)... so what manual prime lens you using?
vngks has f1.2, there was mentioned of zeiss lens, manual focus prime lens, etc... very interesting range of equipment.. got red-dot or MF?

[I wanted to say "sharp" not "smart"]

ClemC, Melvin is using a nikon 20mm f/2.8 AI-s manual focus lens. reaction are always slower than the main group and always at the wide end. ;)

yo dinosour!

this is very taken in good timing. Loved the colors against the grey background and that innocent smile on their face. :)

Thanks!

Got MF but no RF. The guy w the red-dot RF couldn't make it fr the trip.

My MF is the Zeiss ZE21 2.8.

Cheers.

Hahaha ok. Actually if I do have a Medium Format cam, I'd pay a porter to carry it for me kekeke.

Errm I'm a Canon shooter la....so its a 50L 1.2 ;p

SereneXMM, great shot..nice...

Seem like you have a good feel for animal photography:thumbsup:.. the Myanmar trip, it was the seagulls and now it is the Monkeys :)

a personal take: prefer this "style" than the the "dark vignetting mask" you add on in the seagull images. just a personal feel.. I like the way you allow this picture to speak to us, without have to add much to the caption/PS editing..
Thank you Clem C for your kind compliment! :D
