Hmmm....now end of the month liao leh. I asked in early July, thats what they told me too. How is your earphone? Have to use the formies, it will sound better with it. $33.90 is a fair price, but i think if you ask for a discount, you might 1 or 2 bucks off.

I just saw today; A Mark Computer shop at Funan sells 5 pairs for $3 (60 cents per pair). You can continue to pikjiak if you buy them. :sweatsm:

No it doesn't shut out external noise and it leaks sound.

Passive noise cancel phones are the Sony EX51/71/81, Panasonic RP-HJE50 and Audio Technica ATH-CK5. These are avaliable in SG.

If you want active noice cancelling head/earphones, you can try the Sennheiser, Audio Technica or Sony websites for more info. These are costly.

After putting the MX500 to test, I find that it doesn't leak sound, unlike my HD590 that really leaks sound (cos the speakers for the HD590 are on the outside)

Icic. Thats good. Earphones normally leak less sound than open-air cans.

You guys might want to try CK Tang (Orchard) - Level 3, I think. They do carry Sennheiser products. Sennheiser products are price controlled so it will be the same everywhere.

they're quite helpful lah. I needed to replace all the sponges and cables on my HD600, but they normally only carry the earpad. I needed the cord as well as the head strap padding and they offered to order in from Senn and called me to collect. heck I didn't even buy the HD600 from them in the first place.
