Sennheiser MX500 White

well, actually i bought a sony earphone, i think the model is MDR-EX71. I find the sound real sharp and piercing. the most I can use is only half hour b4 I feel sound fatigue. TT's why i'm looking for an alternative, anyone feel the same way about the sony set?

I just bought the MX500 white edition for my Missus and can confirm that it is a very good buy, value for money.

I find the bass not more powerful but certainly tighter... the clarity is amazing when you compare with the iPod earphones. all the details of background instruments are apparent and clearly defined and you hear things you never did with the default earphones. :thumbsup:

I agree about the Sony. Sounds very sharp and with 'thumping bass' that gives me a headache. This is called 'Ear Fatigue'.

The MX500 is much more forgiving and comfortable to listen to for longer period of time.

The one at page1 is the new design...the blue MX500 is L type

I bought the white edition one,... but surprisingly its L type leh. :dunno:

Yes, if MX500 compared to ipod stock earpiece, MX500's clarity is much better. However, the bass still not as good as Sony MDR-EX71SL/W. Anyway, I don't feel comfortable on Sony's Closed Inner Ear design.

Challenger at Funan has it. Saw before selling at $36 i think? Its quite common these days, everywhere selling. CK Tangs also have.

The new white version is straight type..
