Just to quote the website:
"We were very disappointed with the Heliopan products. The German filters are not only very expensive, but they also presented very mediocre optical parameters."
Seems like the cheap Hoya flters are the best of the lot but easily scratched from what I read.
B+W still the best value.

B+W uses Schott glass n has better scratch resistant coatings. Dunno abt Hoya though.

Far far away said:Interesting. It seems that the test used both the ordinary and 16 coated SH-PMC top of the range Heliopan filters for testing. The ordinary one came in 12/16 and the SH-PMC came in 7/16.
Thoth said:Meaning? Hoya still better?
Far far away said:No special meaning just sharing what I understood in the review. Since the discussion was on Heliopan filters and the review was something I shared a few years back so just thought of sharing only. What meaning do you think I have?
