Nice shots Teebs
Flash is still a tad too harsh and a little unbalanced for a few pics though.. I suspect it could be because ur using internal flash, which is situated too low hence resulting in the lower parts of the shot in shadow. Perhaps you may wanna use an external flash to overcome this. But for a set-up without an ext flash, you had done very well here!

Canon S3 does not have a horseshoe for external flash. Only the S5 model onwards has that...:) I should get the S5 but then again my S3 is still able to get the shots I want...;)

The issue with the shadows is because I am shooting top down for most of these pics. If I shoot from a lower angle, mostly it's ok...:bsmilie:

One way to get around this problem is to dodge the pics in PS but I'm a bit lazy to do so for insect macros...:bsmilie:

very nice macro shots. I will be getting a Raynox 250 soon I hope, to try it with the SX10is

Do get the Raynox DCR250. You will enjoy it very much once you get used to the working distance. But take note though, you need to use a diffuser when taking macro shots. :)

Another 3 pics taken at AHBT yesterday afternoon. :)

Anyone tried taking night shots with SX10? I find it hard to get the lightings right. Was thinking of getting a flash and a tripod for night shots i.e. scenery. Any recoomendations?

To SX10IS user,

Do any of the SX10IS user here have any problem in opening your video recorded from SX10IS to Premiere Element 7 or pinnacle studio?

I can't seems to open it for editing as such?

It prompt that additional codec is required....:dunno:

How do I solved this... Didn't have much prob with S5IS tho...
