Why is Miss Ris more popular than F1?
I think the answer is pretty obvious. Miss World Singapore, particularly Miss Ris is all about Singaporean. I think deep inside all of us, we harbour some in-born national pride which at this moment is dangling by a thin thread.
F1... well, yeah it's exciting. But maybe when one day a true blue Singaporean F1 racer manages to elbow his/her way into the F1 team. Then, I can guarantee you that the F1 thread will be as popular, if not more, than the Miss World Singapore thread.
