.......right now i am studying stir-ill.
She wants to be a doctor? :bsmilie:
This poor girl must be crying her eyes out from all these reports... she should have join Miss Chinatown instead
Her accent draws us close to the girl next door feel... isnt this what we want? girl next door and not quasi american girl who tries a different accent?
Please be easy on her... She is young and her exposure to media is probably still insufficient.

Really, it is not easy to be in front of the media. It gives the interviewee butterflies and whatever mistakes made will be part of the person's history. Remember mesiammaihum? A trained speaker can make that blunder, what more a teen...
Yes, i seem to be siding for her, but i just feel we need to support her because she is representing the country. Forget about the selection process. Fact was, she is there and she needs support!
Yes, Contaxable. I do agree with you. She is indeed young at 19 year old. My 19 year old girl still behaves like a child, thinks like one, and gives me lots of worry. But I know as a fact too, that there are many 19 yr olds out there who are surprisingly mature, steady, quick thinking on the feet, and speak with the air of a much older person (in a positive way). Please be easy on her... She is young and her exposure to media is probably still insufficient.

Huh?! I didn't catch that part? I only managed to interpret her wearing a bikini and a pair of jeans running down Orchard Road in her Boom and Shout 'herself' way...
I was confused if there is such a course "Healthscience, hospitality, travelling tourism"... wow, that is bao ka liao kind of course isn't it?
Maybe she missed out a part,it should have been: "Healthscience, Medicine cum Photography major, hospitality, Travel Phptpgraphy, tourism... etc etc".
That would make her a Camera-wielding Travelling-concierge cum Medical Doctor.

bulldoze her to be with A*Star ...:think:Like what i said, if you have an eloquant, well groom daughter who stands elegantly 1.85m tall and is beauty in every school and every club she goes to. Winning the pagent contest would not be your ultimate goal for her life. If you have a choice, you want her lead a better life.
