I use high contrast effect setting n adjust the contrast level n sharpness according to liking on GR. on the GRIV should be same function available.
in camera setting is good, if can do some adjustments on Lightroom would be even better!

Have not use Lightroom or Adobe photoshop, just using iPhoto so far. Would try one day in future.
Do u seen my pictures taken using GRD IV?
It's user problem, night slow shutter speed and slight handshake will give u blur images, try to learn more on basis of photography first before pushing the blame to cameras.

Give him a chance, his is new to this cam. Maybe nickgoh can share the image with shutter speed value, let the senior here tell you what the issue?

I remember read about camera shake correction in the manual, below is extracted from the manual.
The camera shake correction function is not available when the shutter speed is set to B, T, or more than 1 second in mode M, the self-timer is set, or using an optional cable switch.
• The camera shake correction function cannot prevent the blur caused by the movement of the subject.
• Effects ofthe camera shake correction function differ depending on the shooting conditions.
Cool it bro. I'm new to this camera but had used Sony, Panny and Oly cameras, which is why I am doubting the effectiveness of the IS. It is a known fact that the IS in some camera models are not very effective. Take the Leica X1 for example - users have even said that the IS made the pictures worst.

I think the setting of shots is important here for discussion to progress, perhaps you could provide when convenient. Also think each camera had its own sweet settings for low light or available light shots .
Going to do one new round of orders. Stock still available.
Also good as replacement for those who lost their lens ring.

Just got my hands for the Ricoh GRD iv, so far so good, just that i am thinking of a MY setting, any website or place can get some ideas?

Just got new cam this evening...
My last compact was close to 10yrs ago..lol
Bit disappointed theres no neck strap included, any tip where locally has many choices?
Wonder if can just use those office lanyards..lol
Now to explore the cam, be using for travel, Dslr can sit at home..
Qn: Why is my battery Sigma BP-41 and not DB-65 as I read online? Canot be right?Thx

Thx I went back today to get it replaced. he puts e blame on distributor say will chk w them..well..
Funny how come when charging no blinking just green light on, no indication of when its ready?
Also the top button on dial canot set to anything?
Still going thru manual..
