Ricoh GR Digital IV

i don't think you can charge via powerbank.

going full charge on your battery plus the spare AAA's will last you the whole day.

2 AAA's capacity is about a third of the grdiv's battery

based on my personal experience, went around hk for a whole day about a year ago. it was about early morning till 9-10pm my grd battery held up very well.

Hi, may i know roughly how many shoots you can have with AAA batteries?

so which mean AAA batteries only can last about 1/3 of grdiv's battery?

some pics from GR4 to share

Note sure about rechargeable AAA batteries, but from my own personal experience, those one time use alkaline batteries cannot last long. IIRC maybe around 40 shots without flash? Can't really remember though as the last time I tried was some time ago in Melacca, when my battery ran out halfway :) It's a really good to have feature to be able to accept AAA batteries, just that need to take note of it's limitations and don't be too trigger happy when running on AAA alkaline batteries :) Hope this little bit of info helps!

Use of the AAA Lithium batteries would last longer.

Just know that those cheap 3rd party batteries have only half the capacity of the original. Besides that, the internal resistance is also higher, resulting in lower on-load voltage. So far I have tested 2, a DSTE and a generic branded (Digital Power?) one. Both have about 600+ mAh. Of course some may argue that it is worth the money to settle for half capacity. For that I will leave it to the individual to decide.

In case anyone wonders how I tested the batteries. I used a computerized battery analyzer (WMR CBA II) that I have for testing radio control aircraft related batteries.
