May the force be with you.
better that the force is with the police officer

So the couple who found the bag is "officially the one who stole" the bag.?

Hope he finds back his camera and gear.

But for such lost-and-founds, anyone ever found back their stuff? :dunno:

i had a tripod returned by a taxi driver

I feel sorry that some people don't practice what they preach.

I shall stop here as I do not want to start a thread war in someone else's thread.

CS is a place mainly surfed by Singaporeans, but has it ever occur to you that there are people who do not understand Chinese. When I read blow, it did not occur as "chui", but I know it means to speed up things.

Kahheng did sound sincere in asking the meaning of the word "blow" in his post. He may be a foreigner or a Chinese who isn't good in his Chinese language. Anyone may assume he is a Chinese based on his nickname, but isn't it harsh for you to call him names without getting your facts right first? And why? Because you were a bit pissed, so you called him names.

Would you quit being perverted. Out of all who read this thread, only you could think of something like that. You ought to be ashamed of yourself.

I hope you did apologise to him for what you have said. You won't like it when someone calls you a pervert when he did not get his facts right in the first place.

Period.

King Tiger: Hope you get back your equipment soon. :) Looks promising.

Wah lao... cannot like that say.. you are our KT, we of course support you and hope for the best la! Even if it's somebody else, we also will hope they get their equipment back.

Go go go KT!!!

Common lah...lets all give this issue a rest.

The equipment is not stolen from KT... its was accidently left behind by KT. So lets give the couple a break... on one is guilty till he/she is convicted in a court of law. There is so many "What if" ... what if the couple took the bag with the intention to give it back to the owner but maybe have already book a holiday for the coming week or two... etc.. unless otherwise proven.. please refrain from calling them thief etc...

I know you are all very concern for KT... but hey...let the necessary authorities do their bit... from my personal experience... the police has lots of other case to handle.. i.e missing people, robbery, murder etc... each Investigation Officer is assigned a couple of cases so tell me which will take priority... 7k equipment accidently misplaced by owner or missing old lady or murder... give them a break...i'm sure they are doing their very best.

all in all i am very impressed with all your CONCERN for KT... CLUBSNAPPERS

the rest ? lost it a few years ago .... in a similar case as KT

If the culprit paid by card, at the very least, his name will be printed on the charge slip. However, before that did the video show the man took the bag with him or by the girlfriend? if not, then the evidence may not be strong enough.

Anyway, KT hope your gear will be with you soon.

I think "blow" was literially translated from the chinese word, 'chui' - which has a dual meaning of either "blowing" or "hurrying".

;)

Anyway, am glad to hear that KT is getting closer to getting his stuff back.. hopefully.

Translation quite wrong, in fact.

To hurry is to 催 (cui1), to blow is to 吹 (chui1).

So to "blow" is not a correct or literal tranlstion of 催, and is not even a common expression in Singlish that means to hurry as far as I know, and thus caused the unfortunate misunderstanding on Kahheng's part, because it can refer to a toally different activity altogether.

To KT, hope you get back your stuff soon.

i believe that the office in charge of ur 1st report is back by now?

any updates from them yet? :)

Good luck dude~

The police have the video image and all related precious information in hand, and are now looking into this matter. :)
