Is it feasible to send such information to the popular 2nd hand camera shops?

They probably don't want to be taking in stolen equipment.

I'll help.

only if unknowingly.

sellers will be asked to provide personal info when selling to 2nd hand dealers. for sellers of stolen goods, it would be foolish to do so. police regularly seek info from pawn shops, 2nd hand dealers for info of sellers of stolen goods.

All the best for the luck to find the equipments back....

If somebody sends in a D2H without charger, box, manual, strap, it would already be some kind of tattletale sign? :)

Same goes for the SB-800's AS-19 stand, colorgel filters, SS-800 pouch manual etc and the 17-55 too.

Just praying hard the thief is trying to sell it to some 2nd hand shops now and gets caught. :)
