Looks like western SG is having heavier downpour?

Hey, the company that I've bought (through online) my air-conditioning unit from! :bsmilie: Bummer to get stuck in that kind of flood...

Channel news asia says that various location in sg are flooded, including orchard road again. :thumbsd:

Not sure if a Defender can make it through some of the floods. A "Duck" tour Duck would be good!

A defender is able to ford water of 0.6m depth if I remember correctly :)

From bro Orion's satellite images, it seems like a Sumatra squall, just that squalls nowadays are getting much stronger than before.

2nd hand ex too.
Waiting for a good deal.

Mitsubishi L200 looks high enuff to counter floods.

or Toyota Hilux just upsize the wheels . :)

IIRC there was a article from Channel NewsAsia (CNA) or TODAYonline on the people who was caught off guard patting themselves on the back as Orchard Road was not flooded today as badly as last week. Was it taken down already?

A sign of 2012 ?

Expect more rain...meaning expect more floods.

Inbound Sumatra squall, thunderstorm with heavy showers over south-western Peninsular Malaysia and western Singapore currently.

Maybe the PSA may require the driver to obtain an extra license to use the waterway.

Those who are not aware... there are restricted route for those bum boats as to which area they are ply their vessel.
Found out when I chartered a ferry from West Coast ferry terminal out to cover an assignment.

Was told that the construction / progress of the Marina Bay Sands was hampered it's due to the piling / structural works had hit the detached mole buried during land reclamation.

What I heard is there are a lot of flood water at the basement since it is built on reclaimed land. But a taxi driver told me this. I am wondering if he is so good at civil and structural engineering, he won't be driving a taxi already.

Someone up there must have taken pity on the plight of Singaporean having to drink their own pee. Yes, flush away those PUB bright sparks.

Nah, I think PSA would ask you to get licence from MPA (Maritime Singapore). :bsmilie:
