The intensity of the thunderstorm this time round is even stronger than the previous time, I hoped those "that were caught off guard" had cleared their long kangs.

6mths ago - Bukit Timah "rich man" area flooded due to a freak 50yr cycle rain.

1week ago - Orchard Rd "tourist" area flooded becos some folks there were caught off-guard. Meaning of "caught off-guard" - literally, meaning those people on guard duty just didn't do their duty and was caught - chargeable offence under the SAF Act 1972 Sect 24.:bsmilie:

Well, let's see what happened this morning with such intensity of rain. Those chaps have installed some simple and cleverly designed Zulu grating. Let's hope that it works.

Heard from a colleague that Serangoon and Lor Chuan MRT hit by floods. He's stuck there. :)

I arrived in office (CBD) wet! And I have umbrella!

Lucky I wore a pair of slippers to work!

Okay that's it! I will come to office like an uncle everyday now. Security guard will check me.. "uncle are you sure you work in this office?" sigh...

the priviledge of being a lady does not apply to an uncle ... :(

Head that a tree has fallen across CTE, no access to the tunnel.

Ya, luckily I arrived early at work today.

Tree fallen across CTE?!
My goodness, what is happening to the world today?
Must be all crying.
Crying in joy for Japan making it through 3-2.
Or crying for Denmark not making it through 2-3.

Zipped thru the TPE from Changi to Seletar & back to Changi in 40mins in heavy monsoon and arrived back in one piece, Phew!

Thought of going Sentosa now for a meeting but scared I need a boat to go there:sweat:

Looks like western SG is having heavier downpour?

Not sure if a Defender can make it through some of the floods. A "Duck" tour Duck would be good!
