Edit: Remote lightning detection is hot.
Peak wind speed estimated at approximately ~ 80 km/hr.

Look at the size of the system just hours after its infancy began over the Bukit Barisan mountern range on the North-Western side of Sumatra, Indonesia with the mesoscale convective formation of thunderstorm complexes rapidly intensifying in strength over the Strait of Malacca from all that energy released through latent heat of condensation.

Forward brunt of the forces generated by mother nature missed us just be a hair's width over to the south in Riau Islands Province, Republic of Indonesia.

Oh well, still a short and welcoming respite from the ongoing sweltering sauna. Please continue to brace and further prepare yourself for the face punching heat of humidity that will weather on so as to speak.

website for these ? :)
No actual website for that per se if you are referring to ASMAWS.

Just something that I'm working on as part of a larger side project which includes scripted bots crawling through several dozen websites of the major regional / international geological and meteorological (atmospheric, oceanic etc. etc.) agencies or institutions around the world gathering, indexing and scraping (otherwise also known as web data extraction or web harvesting) data sets and graphical information before consolidating them together in an user friendly interface, save me plenty of time from having to do such tedious tasks manually.

The Real-Time Monitoring (RTM) subsystem also trigger red flags upon encountering pre-set alert criteria for seismic / volcanic, tropical cyclone activities and also space weather anomalies such as Coronal Mass Ejection (CME) with Geomagnetic Sudden Impulse (GSI) warnings from geomagnetic storms and solar radiation storms etc. etc.

Cheers.

What sites can I see those images ?

For Peninsular Malaysia specifically in particular. Geospatial and Meteorological Data, Information, and Knowledge (DIK) acquisition is primarily obtained from the following sources...

National Environment Agency (NEA),
Meteorological Service Singapore (MSS): Aviation Services

National Environment Agency (NEA),
Meteorological Service Singapore (MSS): Maritime Services (Selex Rainbow Weather Radar (WRX) Display))
SELEX Meteor 1600S Meteorological Doppler Solid-State Weather Radar (MDWR (S-Band)

National Environment Agency (NEA),
Meteorological Service Singapore (MSS): ASEAN Specialised Meteorological Centre (ASMC)

Malaysian Meteorological Department (MMD / MET Malaysia)

Great job!

Can you next work on Toto and 4D?

Thanks to our Foreign Talents.
Without them Singapore will be flooded.
It's not flooding. The official term for the illegal assembly of precipitation of more than 3 liters on roads, walkways and in shops is 'ponding'.

This thread started in Jun 2010, we still talking about rain or possible flooding? Hehe. Suddenly orchard road no more flooding or even ponding. Weather change or people make the changes?

I suffer flooding twice in my house and it is built on high ground! 1st time the person they sent told me their standard story. Then when challenged, his superior managed to temp solve it for a good many years. With more new developments, I experienced another flood. This time their story is about budget and schedule. After many letters to many departments, they solve it with a more permanent way. I think it will outlast me! Haha.

Unlike power distribution. Drainage management and planning is quite weak in my opinion. Maybe it is the red tape between ENV, PUB or other agencies. Have to leave it to the people we entrusted to settle it.
