20D kit $2850 (incl.GST) (NO FREE BATT?!?!)
20D body $2700 (incl.GST)
18-85 IS USM $1020 (incl.GST)

It'll probably stabilize at around $2.7k, just like its predecessor. $2.5k is unlikely, unless the D200 or a worthy competitor undercuts the market.

I just went to Alan Photo last week and he quoted me $2900 for the kit.
