Just asked (7:00pm) from one neighbour shop of AP at Funan who sell Canon product. they saleman first quoted me S$2690(Excl GST) with kit. Price is negotiable after I want to leave the shop.

My friend was at lucky plaza last sunday and he decided to just ask for the price of the 20d just out of curiousity. The salesman was apparently pretty "desperate" to sell anything because despite it being a sunday, the shop was EMPTY! He quoted my friend $2720 including gst, pay by cash. And that was before any negotiating! In the end, my friend bought a set at $2710 and paid by VISA.

so... if you do put in some leg work and know your prices and stuff - it is possible to get better prices than the shops we usually visti!
