20D kit $2850 (incl.GST) (NO FREE BATT?!?!)
20D body $2700 (incl.GST)
18-85 IS USM $1020 (incl.GST)

That's really cheap... in the stores, the 20D goes for $2750 and the 17-85IS goes for about $1k. There might be a misquote...

i dont think you remember the price wrongly...3269sgd is the SRP from canon. but i believe that price brings you the 17-50mm lens instead of the 17-85 IS lens...check out the canon official website...sounds more logical to me...

I remember seeing the poster is with 17-85mm. The salesperson told me pay by visa can get cheaper, maybe is the price of $3269.

$3269 is correct but I'm quite sure it's with the 18-55 kit lens cos I was there. Free batt grip + 512mb CF. Was pretty disappointed with the deal.

That's right. 300D on the other hand is going at $1799 with 2 free 1GB Lexar CF + 1 batt + (Air Revitaliser + Umbrella). The promo flyer doesn't even feature the 20D.

P/S: For info, MS Color quoted me $1550 for 300D just yesterday.

Yea, the Canon promoter didnt even know how to operate the 20D properly, then in the end he ended up complaining that the camera was damaged.

PS: Anyway, it's Pixma, not Pixmar :nono:
