One reason why I didn't try it outdoor is, I don't want the police come and ask me what am I doing? Why using the light shining here and there? :nono:

very true, that's the way this place is run :( hopefully i get to 'make links' with URA & SLA people in future if i work here, then can 'paint' all i want ;p but maybe by then 'Punggol House' will be gone already :bheart:

Hi ortega,
Both are great shots, nice observation and strong composition.

I don't really like the drain shot, the light is just not right,
I will go and get this drain shot right.

With army boots, got to climb into the drain to get in close.
And I think that directional morning sun would be better.

Just posted it here to show more photo op that I found in punggol.

hmmm... very determined indeed, hehe, anyway late morning/noon daylight always tend to be harsh, i would have easily over exposed alot of areas given my half-pass-six skills now ;p

do be careful in your next try, the drain water can swell at times (especially after rain) SMS the few of us around the area if you need some company shooting :)

Catchlights: thanks for the complimetns, I try my best.

eikin, wow are you online 24/7? Skills? the only thing I did was to compose,
the camera did the rest (P mode) hee hee - grins shyly.
Why do you want to stand around and watch me climb drains??
Unless you want to shoot the drain as well.
I saw the drain while we were walking out from location A

:bsmilie: preparing my architecture portfolio most of today, got resume to send coming january, pc always on so i just leave this window on to pop by now and then, but sleeping soon, all the CADing and PSing driving me tired

... and i won't stand around to watch you climb drains, most probably will shoot you climbing drains :bsmilie: but it's a nice drain to shoot so i'll shoot the drain too, haha ... actually thought the group will be interested in shooting this drain yesterday, but most want to go for breakfast already so didn't stop the group, glad you noticed it ;)

i think it's okay to post here .. they only take action to those who use their map for mass circulation or commercial usage. Dun think they will spend money and get their lawyers to go after u for a map used in a forum for a simple purpose only.

It's better u read the T&Cs, evn posting links is a no no :nono: .

Hi Ortega,
I notice you pause and look at that drain that day, I also eyeing on the drain.

Hi eikin,
Thanks for organizing the photography outing, truly a lot of photography opportunities around here, maybe will try shoot infrared shots here some day.

Dismount the camera, run up the slop, aim and shoot, one and only.

Luckily shot in raw, maybe can bring out the detail in photoshop.
