Any kind soul driving past Joo Seng Area care to give me a lift to punggol? ;p If not I'll probably have to take a cab le.
use upper aljunied rd > upper serangoon rd all the way (no left or right turn) and u will reach the meeting point (location X at punggol east).
i think abt 10-15 mins, but should be faster as no traffic at that time.

hi everyone, reminder again that you can find the relevant information about this outing at the updated front page.

there are some arrangement to update, due to today's heavy morning rain and gloomy weather, i think the path to location 'a' is going to be quite muddy along certain parts, i may not move back to 'X' in time to fetch the second group at 6.30am, but no worries! poohbear will be there to lead everyone halfway towards location 'a' (many thanks to poohbear for helping  ) so those coming later will still have to leave 'X' at 6.30am sharp. i will meet the second group at the halfway point if i can't come out in time.

on top of that , try to wear a covered shoe , i'm sure nobody wants any mud in their feet :blah:

for those driving , i would suggest to park the car by the roadside at the corner of punggol east and punggol drive , near the construction site . So early , wouldn't be a problem one ... it's free and it's near to location a . Just suggesting , park at your own risk. btw i'll park there :bsmilie:

thanks poohbear for the suggestion ... but eh hem ... yah, felt it may not be too safe, hehe ... there'll be some heavy vehicles from the construction company parked there, try not to block their way if you don't mind risk parking there.

one more thing ... i strongly recommend those who can join the 6am group to do so, like what ortega mentioned, it's always good to come early for preparation and get a good location. cheers! going off to check condition of route and get some equipment and medical plasters (ummm.... that's the only first aid i can provide  , anyone else who can volunteer first aid equipment will be greatly appreciated :) )

Yes it is the so-called Punggol Haunted House, no proof that it is haunted.
I am not too keen to find out, either.

I am living just near there and chanced upon the thread.
Will pop by. Any nos I can call to contact in case I late?

thanks again evq!

for tomorrow's meeting if you are late and cannot catch up with the 6.30am group kindly SMS me (for those who received the contact list) and we'll try to direct you to the shooting location. otherwise, kindly wait for the 2nd meeting at Punggol Plaza Koufu Foodcourt.

also, just came back from a 2nd walk to location 'a', quite dark tonight (most likely due to the overcast sky) but the route is still discernable without torchlight, however please bring your torch just in case.

the route is very muddy, with patches of water, so PLEASE WEAR PROPER FOOTWEAR! my bicycle proved to be quite useless on the mudtrack (somemore i lost my bicycle light :( )

CAUTION

i noticed presence of wild dogs, though i do not know how many, there was one barking in my direction from 30m to 40m away just now, luckily didn't kena attack. the point here is to watch out for each other's safety and do not provoke any wild dogs you see! any animal expert here who can share some tips?
