Depends on ur preference loh. The image quality of the pany lens also very good.
Can Panasonic 35-100 go well with Olympus body? My concern is chromatic aberration and barrel distortion. Previously my Panasonic 14 f2.5 did not perform well on e-pm2.

Is there any disadvantage to mixing and matching micro 4/3 lenses and body makes (e.g. Olympus body with Panasonic lens)?
In general, no. In most respects, the lenses behave the same regardless of the body used. Autofocus, aperture control and automatic correction of geometric distortion work the same across all combinations. The only real differences come when using Panasonic lenses on Olympus bodies (vs. on Panasonic bodies). They are:
- Panasonic bodies correct lateral chromatic aberration on Panasonic lenses. The current generation of Olympus bodies (E-M1, E-M10) correct lateral CA on Olympus lenses, but older Olympus bodies do not..
- OIS (optical image stabilization) on lenses that do not have a physical OIS switch can’t be enabled on Olympus bodies older than the E-PL5.

Yes, I use the Panasonic 12-35mm f2.8, 35-100mm f2.8, 7-14mm f4 and 25mm f1.4 with my E-M1 and all the distortion corrections are applied, but you do need to check the CA removal box, and in some extreme cases with the 12-35mm f2.8, I have even needed to use the purples slider to remove excessive fringing beyond what the default correction does.
-----------
The correction profiles for geometric distortion and lateral chromatic aberration for Micro Four Thirds are stored in the lens, and the corrections are applied directly by the camera to the live view stream, video and JPEGs, and embedded by the camera into the RAW file. Both Panasonic and Olympus cameras honor the distortion correction, only Panasonic cameras and the E-M1 and E-M10 honor CA correction (which is dealt with just as well or better in Lightroom anyway if you tick the CA correction box for automatic correction). The next step in RAW is that the converter honors, usually without any other option, the correction profiles embedded in the RAW, and this will be true of any mainstream RAW converter.

The Panasonic 35-100mm f/2.8 controls chromatic aberration very well. There is a small amount of lateral CA on Olympus bodies (it’s corrected on Panasonic bodies), but it’s very minor and extremely easy to correct entirely with one click in Lightroom. Even if uncorrected, you’d be hard pressed to spot it if you aren’t looking for it. Longitudinal CA is controlled very well, with no obvious green or magenta fringes appearing in the bokeh. I also noted high resistance to purple fringing.

More importantly, need to know the RRP in S'pore before can start ordering ... :sweat:how soon the order can start?
If can use the voucher straight away then it does seem like a good deal.
Wonder if cash payment or can use credit card cos this amount can clock quite a bit of flying miles![]()
