hmm, i have never done a model shoot before and i dun know what to expect. plus i dun really know how to shoot models... lol

i feel more comfortable with nature shooting, but i wouldn't mind giving model shooting a try. but how would u get the model? lol

finding a model for the shoot will be difficult unless have friends who dun mind to be "models"... then we braja a meal and drinks in return for the time spent under the gruelling sun.

not so much of a pro model shoot with reflector, makeup artist blar blar... but more of a opportunity to use our cam and gear to a different style of shooting. perhaps just using natural lighting and maybe an electronic flash that is being trigger by an remote optical slave. we will not be looking at the sharpness and details cos it is not quite possible for a prosumer cam, but rather the process of the model shoot.

just an idea which is not conceptualise.

i do think that it will be kind of difficult to find someone nice enough to hang around for the whole day.... :P

hi pg12,

hope u dun mind, i did some PS to your original pic to bring out some contrast.

feel free to give me your comments.

I prefer the preprocessed one. It has a nicer darker mood associated with the emptiness.

hmm, im playing around with this image a bit in my head...
would the composition looks better if the camera was slightly higher?

this would result in more houses above the grass... now the houses is almost fully covered by the vegetation.

thx for the comments, anyway both r nice. as long as u see wat u wish to see in it! :)

After all a picture can tell a thousand words, whether it's composed one way or another. It will just convey a different meaning.

hello vbs1979!

thanks a million! really appreciate your kindness! still, i need to learn, how can i do it? and....... care to comment on those pics? would like to learn from you Professionals! those pics were taken with my fujifilm S9500 bought recently, thought it would be a good camera to start with before i proceed to invest further in this new passion. pics were taken under gloomy or if not in low light condition. thanks again! cheers!

Qn: How come I can't view some of the pics posted? Just got this "Image hosted by Clubsnap" icon. Is there any configurations I need to do? Thanks! :dunno:
