Makes me want to raid the kids university fund for a Leica lens

I found this amazing picture on dpreview with the Sony 18-55 kit lens. Shows what you can do with skill....

Thanks

Lens really makes a difference. Shot some pictures with my new 40mm f1.4 wide open. Really soft.
But cannot complain la. Price wise is 10% of a lexical lux.

Really having fun with my leica lenses on the 5n.

My m9 is in the drybox for quite some time already.

Forgot to mentioned. The 40mm is a voigtlander

40/35 1.4 cv aren't really sharp, but cv35/1.2 v2 is supposedly much sharper, still like quarter the price of 50/1.4 ;)

The M lenses are a perfect fit for the NEX and the ZM lenses are more affordable. Anyone owns a ZM 21f2.8 or 35f2 here, as I am interested in these 2?

Here's my zoom setup for the pictures above. It actually doesn't look unusual since the monopod is mounted to the lens. It balances well and I carry it around holding the monopod grip.

Can barely see de camera body at de end of de lens :)

True! My wife takes better pictures than me with a crappy Samsung NV8. :D

I like !!! ...looks more like a magnification scope rather than a camera setup.

Agreed! You can have all the best equipment in the world but still take lousy photos without any skill. Just to add on, I felt that the 18-55mm kit lens is a good lens itself.

Wait for la-ea2 and see how it goes. If de PDAF works as well as hoped then we can get de sal16105 or 1680z.
