Hi, I plan to attach a voigtlander M mount lens (specifically the 35mm 1.4 Nokton) to my nex.

Which adapter ring should i choose - Voigtlander M to NEX Adapter (Sony E Mount) or the kipon M to NEX adapter? Both adapters are priced at 250 and 100 respectively (from chiif cameras). Considering the huge price difference, may i know what is the differences between the two? Thanks!

The Voigtlander adaptor is a solid piece of metal and gives no play with any M mount lens. I'm not too sure about the Kipon; my experience with Kipon has been mixed. You can always try both out at Chiif's place.

Nikkor 28f2.8 ais with CRC is excellent for close-ups.

Love my NEX 5N especially with the EVF.

But the IQ from the NEX-5N kit lens is really beyond my imagination. I have some portraits of my wife and her friends and the photos showed immense amount of details (not pimples, moles but smaill pores) when you do 100% crop. Too bad I am not allowed to post those photos online.

Got a random shot at Clark Quay. With my Lens Distortion turned on (with CA and shading on too), I noticed the building on the left is still leaning

distortion correction does not mean perspective distortion correction which is happening here
