Are u referring to picture effect (pinhole, High contrast B&W) or creative style (B&W Standard, sunset, vivid)? If it's picture effect, I can access to all effects using manual lens. But the creative style will be disabled when picture effect is on. If it's creative style is disabled on your screen, means likely your picture effect is turned on.
I think your picture wasn't wide open, that's y picture is very sharp. But this lens is also sharp wide open, that's why I brought it for F1 for it's length and sharpness
I also like soft dreamy lens, nice for portraits.

haha, i dunno if i have deleted those.. ya, micro is so sharp that i can see the texture of the pamplet itself..
anyway, off topic a little, anyone sent their 5n for the "clicking" fix yet? if so, how long does it take?
i called the IMM sony store and were surprised they do not know about this.. I told them the news everywhere on the internet and iirc it was on US sony website.

Fully agreed, I am now using legacy lenses fully on Nex, seldom on my Pen.
Nice pics, the 50/1.2 is sharp wide open! My Minolta 58/1.2 is dreamy.
The 105 is a nice lens isn't it?! I like the white 5N! The first 2 lenses combi is a little over, careful how you hold it..The last one is sweet..Post some pics of all pls
Agreed that the Rokker 58f1.2 is dreamier. With NEX I now will have a chance to try it out soon. Am also trying out the Contax CY 100f2. Cheers and enjoy.

I read on dpreview people sent it in already in the US. The Sony sales guys in Singapore are pretty clueless.

huh? this is a free fix away so why give discount price?Is any shop giving a discount for those clicking 5n sets?

Because sometimes a lemon stays a lemon. A fix/repair might not be as good as a flawless camera. Also giving it to repair means I'm a few days without that camera.

try your luck at BnS, who knows you might get really lucky like striking Toto
personally, i dont use video so it doesnt affect me so whether to fix or not is no biggie
if i do take video clips, i would include music clips or just external mic.
i would send it in if they have a quick fix just for completeness sake

Toto got one without clicking? What color and what lens kit?

Same here, seldom use video. And also if u can pan slowly its ok.

SLR magic comes standard with macro rings too? I got the cctv version which rumoured to be their OEM
The one I had was for m43 SLRM 26/1.4 didn't come with macro rings, also had the fujia cctv 25/1.4 both gave very similar results, swirly, the cctv came with macro rings, so did the 35/1.7. SLRM would seem to be nicer version of the cctv, or prob OEM as u stated.
It does not come with macro rings.
Only comes with metal lens hood / front cap and Xtra rear cover ...
