#196 ‎-Every flower’s sunlight-

Every flower needs sunlight - So does everyone need an encouragement. Yes these artificial flowers don't need any sunlight to grow. But this photo wouldn't be possible without the light shining on them.
Regardless how strong a person is, how rich or powerful they are, there is still time that people need encouragement to move on.
Do your friends a favour. Tap on their shoulder and give a slight praise, encouragement or even a morning smile. Who know u might have just saved them from their lowest period of their life.

The interior of Candid Palosan was unlit. In fact other than the 4pm light streaming in through a window, it was totally dark.
I still had the Sigma 10-20 mounted and its not a fast lens at all.
It was between no photo or high ISO, and I was thankful I had a K5.

What is this bird called? I saw this bird at Telok Blangah Hill 2 weeks back but could not identify it.

Wonderful shots!!

The local night market in Yogyakarta provided ample opportunity to put the K5 low light ability to good use.
While lots of cameras have high ISO capability nowadays, its the very low amount of chroma noise from the K5 files that makes it stand out from the others. Even newer cameras.

With this high ISO capability, I found myself able to use a fast shutter speed of 1/125 to keep up with the movement of subjects as well as prevent camera shake due to bringing up the camera fast with the constant flow of people and chance photo opportunities.
