Oh.. Nope. It's K5 with FA200.. Need to shoot from far. Have not master with wider angles lens.. haha

What is this bird called? I saw this bird at Telok Blangah Hill 2 weeks back but could not identify it.

That's the White Crested Laughing Thrush.

Yes this bird is super friendly. When I 1st encountered this bird at Bukit Batok Nature Park, I was only using 300mm and these birds (group of at least 3) was hoping towards me (up to 3m) that I have to move backwards, in the end I shot with FA50. :bsmilie:
Heard from some birders this bird even appeared in neighboring Bukit Batok coffee shops for food.

Caught this kingfisher in his funny pose. ;p
He was drying his feather after an unsuccessful dive into the water for fish.

Some noise present due to use of high shutter speed for action shots. Lazy to touch-up and remove the noise.
K5 + Sigma 500/F4.5 + 1.5x TC

i tot the pics looks more out of focus rather than slow shutter speed..i have been to the Esplanade outdoor area to take pics during the Mosiac Music Festival...i think the trick is to wait for the singers to stop moving..then quickly take a shot..need to anticipate..

if i rem correctly..this is taken with k135 at f4 1/180sec at iso 800

another taken with FA 77 at f2.4 1/90sec at iso 2200

with 50ish lens..u need to sit at the first or second row so that you will be closer..this is taken with helios 58m f2 while sitting at the first row

The girl is from Riot !n Magenta..i like her songs..here is a pic of her taken inside Esplanade during the Mosiac Music Festival
