Hi Ken,
The speed almost same at 1/500 except last one at 1/320 & f stops at 6.3, but the iso varies.
What setting you used?

What setting you used?

I'm using TAv mode, fixed the shutter at 1/500s, Aperture at the minimum, Auto ISO (80-6400)
Since the bird is bigger than the rest for the last pic & not much movement, I lowered the shutter speed to have a lower iso. :)
For this lens, was said to be sharper at F8 but I try not to use this setting when the lighting is not so good (this month usually cloudy :() , furthermore the iso will be higher for F8 compared to F6.3

Thanks for sharing.
I hardly use TAv mode. Can try next time for nature shoot.:)

You should try this mode, very useful as it will give u the lowest possible iso.
eg. iso 1250 instead of 1600, iso 4000 instead of 6400.

However if the lighting is very bright wll end up over exposed (if it's below iso 80). :sweatsm:

took this in kota tinggi, same local robberfly which can be found here. K5 is great being high iso 1600 is usable and that allows a higher shutter speed to be used with f16, which is otherwise not possible with my K10 d or K20 d which I believe. Colors output is great as well.
