The night before CNY its like a warzone in Beijing. Every street corner you can hear and feel fireworks and firecrackers exploding all through the night. Starting from 13th Feb to 21st Feb, fireworks are allowed and available for sale.

Here is a fireworks shots taken from my apartment window in Beijing, using K20+18-55 WR kit. Exposure 13sec, F10.

I knew my current battery was running out, so I brought my standby. Doh! it was empty also

Managed to pop off about 8 shots.
They were all that mattered anyway, as the colors disappeared with 15mins from the time they appeared.

Here are some pictures I shot with my new K7 at the Zoo last weekend. I had the K7 for almost 2 weeks already and there are still lots to learn about this camera. I'm a bit overwhelmed by all the features.

I guess I had almost never posted any photos for technical discussions but tonight, I am so excited and touched by a new acquirement that I want to share this random pic.

f1.2, 1/13, iso500.

Still one stop away from the Leica Noctilux but probably the fastest I could ever get in Pentax-world. It's been a long time since a lens touched my heart. Many thanks to the seller for giving up his prized possession. I am very sure it's gonna be my favorite lens!
