Photos from 8D7N Hanoi Halong Bay & Sapa Valley Photography Trek

I promised divinemoment I will post tonight. I have a few IR shots to share. Here:lovegrin:.
Everyone was shooting everything until nothing more to shoot, then start shooting everyone. Here it looks like shooting each other.

Here is my IR sunset. The light is not that good already so I decided to shoot this darker view like this.:bsmilie:

Here Adrian was shooting me. So I shoot him back. Kekeke...

I totally missed this scene. How come huh? Now you can bluff people you were up in the Alps. I liked the housed just appearing at one bottom corner, laced with a mystical mountain above and nothing in between. One don't get such opportunity easily. Maybe criteria must clock more than 10km than have a divine chance. One in a million shot, beautifully composed. Frame it up.

Has Steve got a similar one? (can't remember)

He probably does. When it came to my turn, the mist covered the building already.

Why? Because you were too busy walking and talking to Ms Pang here mah... (as shown below)
This 'Alps' scene appeared just a few metres down from where I took your picture here.

Yes. Stevepow was the first to post his photo of the Alps on page 13 of our this thread.
I have shown Stevepow's picture below. Just click on the picture to go to that section of the thread.

Even though you all are talking about Sapa, I thought l bring you all back to Hoan Kiem Lake.

Here are my 'Chap Pa Lan' pictures:

Don't be frustrated, acpical.
You must have been a little too busy looking at this...

I know. I was almost distracted by our guide Ms Pang standing at the entrance... Hehehe...
Lucky I was 'steady' enough to grab a shot of the distance before the clouds covered up the Alps and the building again. Hahaha...

No no no you are modest, Stevepow.
I was just pure lucky.
I was only a few metres behind you here.

By the time I walked to where you and George were in the picture, the clouds have parted sufficiently
for me to snap a quick picture of the Alps.

I kept coming back to this image and Steve, if you don't mind, I've improvised on it. Just too good an image to ignore. I think can sell as calligraphy in Sapa upmarket. My chinese is gibberish though

This was taken during our fateful 5.30am Hanoi walk...I took some pics of old locks.

I noticed you were concentrating on this and its nice to see the result. Good colour treatment.

I guessed I was concentrating on this and missed the Alps. This somewhere near the Forest Protection Station (or maybe just even outside if I can recalled).

The heavy mist gave the impression of a sleazy ghetto that so often film makers used to smoke the surrounding and the ensuing chase began by the approaching 3 mafias

WHow, this is a good shot, you got the timing just right. I'm not too sure whether Helen has a good shot, i was behind with her waiting for the clouds to clear and she took a few. But yours is really nice, can try to sell to some magazine la!

Yes, divinemoment. You are the man, man!

Man....these guys are heavily armed!!
Actually, unknown to you all, Helen, both SereneXMM and I are part of the Air Marshall team seconded to
SgTrekker to ensure the safety of the whole team. Thus the apparent heavy armament.
The real firepower was concealed deep within the casing of the photographic equipment.
