Photos from 8D7N Hanoi Halong Bay & Sapa Valley Photography Trek

I guessed I was concentrating on this and missed the Alps. This somewhere near the Forest Protection Station (or maybe just even outside if I can recalled).

Agree. Like what LowLights has said - this is so revealing.

it sure brought me back loads of memory of Hanoi, Halong Bay and Sapa! I was there early Jan and it was WINTER! Foggy and super cold in Halong and Sapa! Not much of photog opportunities!

By the way, Ma May's another nice place for makan! :)

WHow, this is a good shot, you got the timing just right. I'm not too sure whether Helen has a good shot, i was behind with her waiting for the clouds to clear and she took a few. But yours is really nice, can try to sell to some magazine la!

Adrian, thank you so much for your kind words. Like I said, maybe I was just lucky.
I believe every one of us were all in one line - along the way the distant clouds kept changing.

I tried pp B&W on a couple of my night shots in this series but none turned out as nice. This is fantastic!!

This road surface itself is slanted.
I kept the horizontal as horizontal already, yet the road is wai-wai...

Hi limwhow, I believe this would be a stronger picture if it was in monochrome.:)

I was at a totally different angle to whow and steve's wonderful shots.
I took mine at the lower end of the hill. The result is not very impressive lah.

Hello, Bravia.
I would like to express my thanks for your suggestion.
It certainly sounded very plausible and as such, I have done a quick 1-2 here.
I am not sure how the B&W version is viewed.
As always, I would be happy to receive all feedback.

I like the B&W version of this picture:)

Actually, unknown to you all, Helen, both SereneXMM and I are part of the Air Marshall team seconded to
SgTrekker to ensure the safety of the whole team. Thus the apparent heavy armament.
The real firepower was concealed deep within the casing of the photographic equipment.

Haha..very funny!!:bsmilie:

Again, your sepa rendition comes through with it unique mood!

Thank you! whow

Yup, I go with the B&W version too. ;)

I am a B&W guy .. but for this case I prefer the color version unless the contrast of this B&W is reduce .. my problem with this one is the water is too "reflective" hence too "digital" .. but that me ;)

Thank you guys!

It is a terribly confusing and conflicting world that we live in.
I am torn between colour and no colour, contrast and no contrast....

Ok lah Ok lah - score line 1-1. Even.
Half colour half monochrome with contrast reduced.

HAHAHAHAHA.....!!!! No more conflict!
