I tried pp B&W on a couple of my night shots in this series but none turned out as nice. This is fantastic!!:thumbsup:

I am a B&W guy .. but for this case I prefer the color version unless the contrast of this B&W is reduce .. my problem with this one is the water is too "reflective" hence too "digital" .. but that me ;)

I've same opinion as Lowlights. I find the tone too little range, not much grey variation (beside the reflection). Seems more like uneven paving thru bad workmanship. Ok, they don't have paving machine.

Whereas the colour version does indicate some kind of mud water.

Just my opinion.

Actually you have a very valid point.
I think at the end of the day we should go back to the original purpose of the shot.
You are correct to say that the muddy water is what I was trying to achieve. And that was perhaps accomplished in the muddy colours.
 

So many fantastic shots, I can't decide which one is my favorite. ;)

but if you asked me it is just a little too dark and I am getting the feeling that the horizon is a little slanted

Maybe got to denoise a little first...

Her ISO is super siao at 6400.
