Yes, this rascal!

Ohhh...this one. Screaming all the time at us. Sounds like Vietnamese/Hmong profanities. RASCAL is the right word! :D

Got the itch back again so some pix for sharing

A perfect gentleman or it's part of the package ???

This caption is funny :bsmilie:

70-300mm? the aperture seems quite small and difficult to handle..

Correct on the lens, except for the close up on the elderly gent (think that was 70mm on a FF). The VR came in useful, I guess. ISO400 helped too.

It was indeed my first experience shooting under such rain condition with polythene cover protecting our precious gear, but inevitably water still splashed onto the lens and body. If I'm alone, I'd have stayed put and lim kopi.

But this great bunch and Adrian works just like the army, inspiring one another "Common gentlemen, lets push on and charge, move..... move ......otherwise I'll kicked the sh*%^t out of your butt." Joke lah, its all very mutual and with telepathy understanding when we moved around.

Hahaha... agree on this.

I took some panning and zoom shots and this perhaps one of my keepers.

My, your zooming must be really fast to achieve this zoom effect!

the cover is provided? or everyone had prepared for that and brought the stuff?

....

Surprising as it may seem, this great fellow Adrian actually brought a whole stack of translucent plastic bag.
When it rained cats and dogs outside the hotel, he just quietly proceeded to water-proof everyone's camera!
That's top-class service!

My take of the night scene at Sapa Town
Pretty noisy ISO at 2000
Now this I like!
Why? Simple.
Because it is where we have all been.
Because it is where we ate at.
Because it is very memorable.
Hey, stevepow - can you be a little more itchy and put up some more photos?
I want to see more!

I think it thought you looked like a dog meat lover, that's why it hid from you! :bsmilie:

I am not a dog meat lover.
I am not a dog lover too.
In fact, I er... have an aversion to dogs leh... Hahaha...

Well, you had...ahem...constraints. I understand. ;)

Yah, this I totally totally and absolutely agree!
Maybe, next time huh?!

Like stevepow, I also feel itchy.

You know, having a newbie like me on tour doesn't make his job easier. But I agree with limwhow: "this SNAG (sensitive new age guy) is hard to find nowadays"!!;)

Too chim? No lah, you are modest, divinemoment.
IR is just like any other form of photography.
It's all about colours.

I like the lines here.
In fact, the whole trip in Sapa, I was trying to look for lines after lines after lines.
But i must admit my eyes not very good with lines.

Only if you are a girl :bsmilie::devil:

I'd considered this as equalling challenging scene besides those kids playing with the buffalo. Light pouring in from doorway and roof and fire also burning. The ambience was fairly dark. In this location, I spent more time with the pigs at the backyard and sneak in a few shots of the kids at last few moments.

Not very satisfying as subject looks abit wayward of an otherwise natural setting.

Haha... I am sure Adrian our SNAG treats both his male and female customers with the equal amount of care.
So no need for me to wear skirt lah!

Speaking of which, ladies and gentlemen, where are your waterfall photos ah?
Don't 'pang seh 放生' me and leave me with only one waterfall shot leh...
Come come come!
Show your waterfalls!

My good brother divinemoment.
You hit the nail on the head again when you talk about the difficulty of this scene.
I believe everyone of us had the sane amount of trouble here.
But it really gladens me to see that our thread has taken a slight turn with you leading the way, in that we are now putting up photos of situations where we experience technical difficulties in achieving our desired shots.
And thus, by doing so, we can all continue to share our own version of that scene and deliberate further.

It is like another photosharing session.
Just that this time round it's online.
Great job, divinemoment!
