I will be back for this weekend, just come back from Thailand....but yesterday I suddenly got some heartache when i was in the plane :bheart: ... wondering why :dunno:

I salute the organisers who have put in much work to make this run as smooth as possible and to the volunteers who came forward to help. Grin we all got acquainted with how a roast in an oven feels like. Nice people glad to meet them in flesh.


Frankly we need more people down there - I was not able to be there on the first week end - had to work. The second week I "donated" about 9 hours. The last weekend may be iffy - I have to do a shoot on Sat - Sunday may not be possible as there is still a massive lot of area cleaning to be done plus the necessary post shooting work needs to be done asap for this gig - the dateline is Monday night handover. My suggestion to those who are still thinking of lending a hand - just go - and do whether you can. Once there you can see what needs to done - if no one is doing it - do it do not wait to be asked or ask and wait.

Thanks for the clarification.

For those who may wonder about why I was wondering ... previous bad experiences with certain bodies who were supposed to be honourable and examplarary have made me a little more discerning, especially when the kindness and generosity of my parent's church members was exploited in times of dire need (my father was dying). Since then, I do try to approach matters with my eyes opened a little wider.

I will try my best to be there for the last weekend to help eventhough I have prior work engagements.
