I'm in Pasir Ris though, so anyone who's nearby can give me lift if possible? Anywhere north or west or even central is a torture for me, especially if early morning shoot.. sunrise! worse!

Dun worry..tink we most probably target is sunset if we are going labrador but the odds for Punggol is very high now! Come on guys..vote for labrador =P

Sunset at punggol is very nice now...but till July may look different.

Can consider Punggol Marina but a little inaccessible. Need to take a bus and walk in. I think there is a shuttle bus there also.

If you try mid afternoon shoot around there for another Macro - (lots of vegetation around there...maybe can find insects, odd chance of butterfly, grasshopper, ...snake...) and followed by a landscape in the evening.

aiyo, can set earlier or later.. end jul start aug is my travel period.. going bali and hong kong (again) :bsmilie: hong kong not confirmed though

anyways, if it's going to be labrador, best if you guys check the tide tables, i give you the solid and firm assurance that you won't like that place at low tide.. it will be mucky, smelly, and the foreground will be full of washed up rubbish that is revealed when the tide recedes.

in any case, if anyone wants guidance to punggol area, can just pm me, i will be free next week, can bring you guys around..

there are a lot of shooting opportunities in punggol for sure, i must say.. even daytime can be good.

btw, if big group best to avoid punggol marina altogether. it is after all , still a private property in some senses.. later not happy and then bar all photographers from then on

Its a private but public place lah. they have seafood restaurant there. should not be an issue...just the transport.

I missed the last one because of the lousy weather, but I hope to make it to the next one. The only point of uncertainity is my research workload, which is ridiculously high now; I hope it doesn't carry over to next month.:complain:
