Called just now. Out of stock!

ugh, tat's a very long wait...have put my name on MSC since 2wks ago...

if u guys need it urgently, have to pay higher price from bigger retailers...
last week i reserved one with CP, sicne they got stock for the zoom kit. but the lowest price they could give me was $1,199 + pancake ($620) + EVF ($349) which will end up almost $300 more than what MSC is selling...too expensive, rather wait.

CP always over quote people thinking we are "cai tao". When I call them and ask when stock will arrive, they tell me "No advise" loudly and hang up on me. This is very rude. Poor service :thumbsd:

Yeap! I can confirm that the stocks for GF-1 are coming end of the month .... a friend of mine working in Pana confirmed this to cater and prepare for the demand during the SITEX show.

So if you guys can hold .... BETTER HOLD .... cos' i heard there are gonna be more give-aways during SITEX.

Price wise ... either no diff from the launch price or slightly cheaper ... but the give-aways are worth more than the discounts given.

p/s: Me praying they'll offer pancake+body at 1.3k and give-away their EVF (+ many more)! *hint* *hint*

lol, already considered lucky if they bothered to check the stock. some staff at CP PP there got stuck up attitude.

i only went to the shorter auntie when i was a regular customer there, she's friendly & give good discount. nowadays i usually go to MS or Parisilk.

Anyone knows how much an extra battery will cost? Read a few pages back that can range from $150 to $199. That is kind of ex. Not to mention it seems 3rd party batteries can't be used right?

Really expensive isn't it? Amazon sells it at US$47.24 (approx. S$66) even if we order in via Borderlinx, it's another $22+ for shipping. Half the price!

I think I'm gonna do that.

I can't seem to get "DOF" on my pictures when using the scn "Peripheral Defocus".. Any Tips? On my 20mm.. using AP, i must be almost 10 - 15cm frm my object to achieve DOF.
