Top up $200 to get 14-45 when you buy the pancake kit

If any camera shop say no stock and want to charge you more coz they see that you desperate. Just go that standard retailers such as HN, Courts, Best. They should sell it to you at RRP.


The shop that i go to (Max Photo) indicated that the standard freebies by panasonic is the 8gb SD card and a Lumix G camera bag. All other freebies is by the shop themselves. (This i never verify it myself, hence, not confirmed)

If you buy the GF1 with 14-45 kit, and they willing to sell you the pancake at less than $200,
quickly buy it. even if you dun want the pancake, you can sell it easily at more than $200.
If this is true, this is also the best deal. coz you will get both lense with body at $1400.



By the way, which brand of polarizer filter is good for GF1?
Where to get good price for your reccommended brand?

SLR revolution quoted 1275 w/gst for GF1 pancake. So parisilk and CP offer not really that great lei!

Although SLR Revolution has the cheapest price around but the waiting list is long. The last time I inquired, they told me I can probably get one around early-to-mid Jan 2010 and not guaranteed. AP is next cheapest at 1290 for the pancake kit.

I bought mine at TK for 1350 for the pancake kit.

Got down to AP to look for a better filter for my 20mm ....

Pls get a decent one with many many many layer of multi-coat ... becos' 20mm tend to have flare on cheapo filter ....

Good News : mine 14-45mm stock arriving on the 20th DEC ....

Order a leather case from China for the 20mm kits too ... those Ah Peh leica look alike leather case ....

Saw that they still hv stock for GF1 pancake last wkend. Maybe its for other kit that needs to be on waiting list.

They may have sets displayed in the shop but those are for people on the waiting list. I saw one pancake kit and one zoom kit at the time of inquiry and both are not for sale to walk-in customers.
