Hehe......I'm the one who got it at MS. At that time, there was also a gentleman testing a Red GF1.

Bro, check out CP for the viewfinder.

hahaha...... i was a tad slower. it's ok, anyway, gotta save up for that.

is the pricing at CP same as MS?

Thru the phone, CP is $50 higher. Not sure if there is any discount.

CFO and i were at the CP@Marina Square. based on wat the other fellow CSer said that it is 299, yes, it is 50 bucks higher.

CFO got a shock, asking how in the world can it be so ex. so in the end, she decided not to get it. might be settling for the pancake cos she is tempted by it alrdy.

Must say the GF1 AF speed is way faster based on the video.

I quote an extract from the review "High ISO these days is really a non-issue unless you like shooting in pitch black darkness."

I think this is bullshit and wildly exaggerated. Even in my small room with fluorescent light on, bright enough for reading, I have to use iso iso1600 if I'm ever going to shoot handheld at 1/30 or faster without flash.

Nobody should be exaggerating about taking pics in pitch darkness handheld. Even iso10,000will not be enough.

If one is to shoot indoor handheld without flash, high iso1600 is mandatory.

A very misleading review.

basically, pure darkness,no light whatsoever, even infinite ISO with the bulb set to don't know God knows how long and aperture at values like 0.0X,will still be unable to take anything in the room

GF1 + 14-45 & Raynox 250

Very sharp.

Focal Length = 31mm
Exposure Time = 1/80
F Number = F5.4
Exposure Program = Aperture priority
ISO Speed Ratings = 500

Handheld. Distance from object is about 10cm. ;)
