Walked past a camera shop on yesterday, and they have a Lowepro Primus AW for sale!! Stepped in, played with the bag for a while and the rest, like they say, was history.... I'm HKD990 (about S$190) poorer but now have my 8th camera bag... Man, I feel like a woman! ;)

I'm slowly catching up with my wife.... she got 11 bags of different brands and sizes... :sticktong

When I return to Singapore the next round, I'll be selling the bags that I do not need... to recover a little bit of my investment... :embrass:

Fwah you are more jialat than me. I will at least read up on the bag. Haha.

I thought the Lowepro Rezo 190AW (for organised and event shoots) and a free Fujifilm top loader (for walkabout) is sufficient, until I bought a battery grip for my S5 Pro. I bought the Think Tank Digital Holster 40 this afternoon (for walkabout) at OP. It fits the S5 Pro with battery grip and a 17-55mm lens like a glove. The bottom part can be elongated to fit a camera with an even longer lens. Very portable indeed. Nice.

Haha... I actually did research on the bag prior. But at that time the price was exhorbitant, so I went with the Fastpack 350 instead. At S$190, it sounded more reasonable... save the Polar Bear mah... :)

Now I need to find takers for those unused bags... :embrass:

get a lowepro stealth reporter AW200..it's big and much better than the rezo 190.

Thanks for the recommendation. Right now I use the Think Tank Digital Holster 40 most often. It is very well made and tough.

The price you pay is really worth it man. To quote one review I read of a Think Tank bag, their bags "ooze quality from every seam". I kid you not.

This is very true.

I own 2 Lowepro bags and 1 Think Tank bag. Comparions between the 3 bags, Think Tank wins hands down. The quality and labour factors clearly can be seen from the bag.

Lowepro always has loose threads out from the stiches here and there. Foam and shields are not as fine as Think Tank.

;) Economics very bad, still lugging Lowepro Apex 110 AW sling bag for the past few year, you could donate one to me when you are back to SG;p

but think tank not as nice looking as lowepro...and cost more !! :)

Lowepro was the 1st camera bag i got, I have brought quite a no. of Lowepro bag before, now... Left only 1 survivor, Flipside 400AW. together with my Think Tank, Billingham, Fotofile, Olympus and blah blah blah...

form is a functionality for me... domke is  billingham too

price aside, which u guy prefer? Domke or Billingham

domke F3/J3 is probably among my favourite as a lot of things can be tossed in for a day outing to shoot.

but i like billingham to bring my camera to work.

different purposes... intend to get a smaller billingham for travel like a L2 or hadley small just for one body+lens.

i do like lowepro classifed look but never took the plunge.

I also considering smaller hadley for single lens use, Lowepro classified is nice if you are referring to the smaller 1.

Hi, sorry for hijacking. But anyone can recommend a bagpack for light traveling?
Maybe just enough fro body and I tele-zoom?

the 7mdh was great, as it could hold a lot, and looked a bit secretish, but the problem was that it could hold a lot... (probably I'm just weak). I put a lot of gear in there, carry around for a day, then in pain, shoulder and back, every 15 mins change shoulder, wasn't healthy for me.

A DAM, u r weak! Ok i'm weak too. I sold my 7MH for the same reasons. ;)

Wah you guys are terrible! so many bags! This female shooter here only own a billingham hadley pro and a kata DR 467.

okok..i admit i have many other bags for different functions and daily usage but only 2 camera bags so far. :bsmilie:

I thought I was the only one with this obsession... feel the guilt everytime I succumb to the temptation but well, makes me feel better that I'm not alone :bsmilie: Also makes me feel better that any one of my wife's handbags cost more than the whole lot of bags here...

Here's my list..
1) Billingham Hadley Digital
2) Billingham Hadley Large
3) Domke J2
4) Domke J3
5) Domke J603
6) Domke F5XA
7) Lowepro Flipside 300
8) Lowepro Flipside 400 AW
9) Lowepro Classified 140
10) Lowepro Toploader 65AW
11) Lowepro Rolling Computrekker
12) Pelican 1510

and a whole array of pouches, inserts, accessories. Sigh.

Over the years I've been through:
Crumpler Formal Lounge
Delsey PRO Bag 3, ODC 53
Domke F7 Dbl, F2, F3, F3X, F3XB
Lowepro Compact AW, Mini Trekker, Specialist 85 AW, CompuDaypack, Lenstrekker 600AW

If anyone wants a small mini review on whether the above-mentioned bags will suit your needs, please feel free to PM me, I'll tell you what worked and what didn't. :)
