Wow, guess I'm not the only one... :sticktong

Here's my equipment, this is taken using the Olympus E-620 with the 25mm pancake lens. I missed out the EC-14 teleconverter...

For more 'serious' shooting, I usually take the E-3 + 12-60mm + 50mm + 50-200mm +FL-36R with me.

For casual outing and travelling light, I plan to carry the E-620 + 25mm + 14-42mm + 70-300mm + FL-36R.

So I sorta have 2 configurations, and the 7 Million Dollar Home will swallow either one of these configurations with space left.

Hmm, just wondering anyone here who are using the Crumpler 7MD can post a pic showing how you arrange the padding inserts within the bag?

I've been using it for about 2 months. . . But I just feel that the default padding arrangement is not very space efficient. Moreover, I feel that with so much padding, the space inside is quite limited.
I'll be putting in just my 40D, 17-40L, 50 F1.8, 18-55 IS.

Thanks.

The default arrangement should do you just fine actually, with ample room.

Hi jookee,

I'm using the 7MDH, you can see from the picture above how I arrange the padding. I actually have one padding unused as I feel the padding take up some space. I believe the 40D is about the same size as the E-3.

Take a look at the following thread, lots of pictures of the 7MDH and it's configurations.

Anyone using the Lowepro Inverse 100 AW?

It looks raher fitting and big enough for a DSLR and a extra lens but not sure if it will be too warm for Singapore weather?

Hi guys,

I have only 3 bags. My gears, 30D, 24-60mm f2.8 Sigma and a canon zoom 70-300. Not much compare to other guys.

I have have stop buying bags. Reason, all things new we are satisfied. After a while, we tend to scout around again. These bags are not cheap too. Combine all these camera bags and they easily cost to a f2.8 lens of any brand. Think about it.

I'm using inserts now. They goes into any bag I want. Be it shoulder or backpack. Add more if your gear increase. They don't take up much space. As far as protection is concern, padded inserts is as good as any camera bag. Example Domke, the outer shell isn't padded at all. If it is padded lose lowepro, its going to be bulky like a pillow.

Anyway, everytime I think of buying a camera bag, I think of the new lens that I'm going to buy (Canon 70-200 2.8 L).

:)

The F-3X is capable of so much more...

This shows what I'd carry on a shoot most of the time. Sometimes I add a 580EX, though most of the time, I hardly ever take the effort to lug so much weight around unless it's a serious shoot. You see my 1DII, 24-70L, 16-35L and a 50mm f/1.4, along with a R-Strap, spare cards, batteries and a lenspen. There's room for a 580EX and one more prime (either 85mm f/1.8 or 35mm f/2) too, if really needed.

When everything's packed in, it looks nice and neat. No squeezing or stretching to fit stuff:

Here's how everything looks under the camera:
3530705323_59f5972253.jpg
One lens goes into each "lens compartment", with the battery, cards and other stuff fitting into one half of the main compartment. The R-strap also goes in there, though it's not pictured. The 1DII with 24-70 and hood slots into the other half.

There are side pockets for other stuff, like a torchlight, sunglasses, or keys; the 580EX could fit in there. Also, there is a wide pocket just in front of the main compartment, where I usually stuff my water bottle.

Hey guys,

Here to update with pictures on how I pack my Crumpler Complete Seed with the insert in it. These images show a full load; I don't normally even go out with so much if it's a casual day out.
